it was a Big bear lodge start to the season snowshoeing into the manche vally above morzine. the refreshments were a little warmer than the water fountain!!

any one for a dance!! Mat trying some local dance moves, unfortunatly for Gail on the right she had a closer inspection of the snow than anticipated,but these guys were keen to have fun and make the most of the great conditions we had on this day its always great to tramp down the slopes after a hot chocolate and a bit of a rest

Professional Training for International mountain leaders

this february the snowshoe company ran several training courses. to develop winter snowshoe skills for existing I.M.L s and trainies

Samoens, les Gets and Morzine was the venue, as you can see we have had some fantastic conditions

Here we have sally graham and philip on a beautiful january day above les Gets France looking at, some aspects of winter conditions

We picked some great rolling nordic terrain to journey through with some cracking views, and plenty of issues to talk about
we looked at many aspects of the existing syllibus but i would like to think we had a lovely time, we were also joined later on in the week by paul and stephen

it was all so interesting we had to look at the day in different ways, be it a close examination of the snow or through a lense.

but at the end of the tour we retired to a relaxing lunch

after a great snowfall it was lovely to get out and take in the views above  les gets and  morzine

superb cold  conditions gave us  some  great powder and fresh tracks,

the berrys are huge on the trees  great  for the birds
